Peaceful location to nearby shops, excellent restaurants in the local area. Besides, easy to get to a publicly owned museum. Huge and adequate room, with a comfortable bed. Delicious food for all meals.

The setting was PERFECT, right by all the great restaurants and a temporary shop selling items. We got a room with a tub.

The location was great and lovely, just 5 minutes walk from a colchester castle. This hotel was set in a lovely area. They gave me a freshly renovated room with the bathroom and very good value for money and a huge balcony.

Just an appropriate option for shopping in Colchester with extraordinarily good value for money. The breakfast was tasty, but it took a long time to arrive. Come early for breakfast to avoid the wait.

Modern vibe with great location
Location is super handy, just a quick stroll from the bus stop. My room was comfy but the air con needed some TLC. Quick breakfast at the George was good enough to kickstart my day. A bit bummed about the stained towels though, wasn't ideal.
